Jackie Muha, UF student and vice president of Dancin' Gators, talks about her experiences with Irish dance over clips of a practice session in her apartment. Muha's Irish grandmother influenced her family into getting involved with this unique form of dance. Muha has been dancing for 12 years and teaching dance for six, and said she plans on always having it as a part of her life.

  • Top o'themornin' t'yeah!

  • that is cool I didn't think florida at first but yeah the gators would be florida. Some of my family is from florida before that northern ireland. That is so cool you go girl. Keep it up good vid but end, was really abrupt.

  • Good narrative and sequencing. What this video really needed was some natural sound breaks. I call it the nat/narrative weave. What you don't want is someone talking with out any breaks. Let the subject talk a bit, then weave in a natural sound break. In this video I wanted to hear the feet stomping, the girls chatting and some Irish music. Ending is too abrupt. I like to end my videos with natural sound that trails off as the video fades to black.

  • Good interview, and lots of good shot variety. I like the pacing too. Do they usually practice without any music? The end is a bit sudden.

  • That was really good. Were you doing the ceili moves (4 hand) in the hard shoes for effect?
