Procter & Gamble is probably THE biggest "soap company" in the world, and one of the biggest advertisers on TV, radio and print media as well. Read the book "Soap Opera" by Alicia Swasy, for the company's "backstory"...

I seriously doubt it's ProctOr&Gamble - it's rather Procter&Gamble. If you want to know what Proctor is and what he does for the living - check the google. It is basicly Proctologist. LOL
