Moncton fire responded to a chimney fire on Jones around 12:45 P.M. Once on scene they asked for additional units to respond to the call. Firefighters used the ladder truck and were dropping a ball and chain down the chimney. Jones was completely blocked off to traffic. Firefighters kept dropping the ball trying to clear the chimney and were still on scene at 2P.M.
