@Nonamearisto You said that it was wrong to only go after Mormons and that the only groups that are ok to attack are pretty much anybody who disagrees with the liberals.
-
@CelticVictory Thanks. I don't remember what it is I am right about, but thanks. It's been a while since I was on this page.

@geminyo Seculers also had slaves and supported slavery, you can't use a religious argument claiming that only they supported slavery when non-religious people did as well. Further, Christian and other religionists opposed slavery as well, not all supported it. You are very bad at proving your point.
-
@Nonamearisto You are right.
-
@geminyo I didn't say any of the quotes that you just wrote.

@hotflame2009 Because African-Americans have been singled out by US culture as "victims" who cannot be touched, even as we continue to imprison them and abort their kids at ludicrous rates.
-
@patrickledford420 And maybe you are a waste of oxygen yourself. What has convinced you that you are SO right?

It is wrong to single out the Mormons. One would also have to attack the Evangelicals, the Pentecostals, The Catholics, Most Muslims, Orthodox Jews, Orthodox Christians, most Hindus and Buddhists and... well, pretty much ANYone who isn't a member of an ultra-liberal protestant denomination, an ultra-liberal Jew, a lapsed Catholic an atheist, or an agnostic.

@CelticVictory Oh, and nice dance moves. If I could sidestep issues like you, I would consider a job in professional apologetics. You just said "Sure they broke the law, but that still doesn't change the fact that the gays were protesting them out of hatred and nothing else..."
And made it sound like "Yeah, I know there are misunderstandings on both sides, but I hope we can all be friends..."
You got skills, my friend.

@CelticVictory Heyyy! Yeah, the black populace has it's own problems. Once upon a time, your christians were using the slavery in the bible to justify the slavery in the U.S. Hell, mormons even believe that black people are the spirits who wouldn't take sides in the fight between jesus and his brother, lucifer, and that a pious life could turn them from black to white. I'm not making this up either.
Oh, poor ScuseMeJudge! I will say, your Mormon xenophobia is well-developed! I'm glad I got out when I did.
You are MISUSING the term bigot. It's NOT just defined as intolerance but also obstinacy & irrationality.
Yes we gays are obstinate about this, but are we irrational? No. After all, this is a fight about what the US Supreme Court called in 1967 "one of the basic civil rights of man".
Last time I checked, it WAS bigotry to deny basic civil rights. Shame on the Mormon bigots!

Besides, any practitioner of a religion that believes that people after death can still be baptized and believes that God resides in some distant area of the universe called Kolob has no business using terms in the field of logic to make their points. After all, Mormon doctrine is such an irrational belief system that is completely devoid of logic. Mormon doctrine is arguably one of the most far-fetched and insane doctrines in the history of humankind. Joseph Smith was a fraud.
