The Wisniewski-Imperato Piano Duo project was born in Hannover's Hochschule fur Musikund Theater from the big friendship between the two musicians of similar musical orientation, the passion for classical music with repertoire from the ancient music, played on the original instruments, to the contemporary classical music and the love for jazz, improvisation and composing. Their performances are based always on improvisation and on the extemporary exchange of musical ideas, starting from the feeling of the stage, piano, audience, mood and the partners' phrase. In the "Improvised Suite" for piano four hands(2009) both pianists are everytime trying to find musical and intelectual connections between the experiences, the knowledge, the technique and the spontanic. They are developing every performance in similar way, based on the same motives but everytime they reach different effects and so the "Suite" is always fresh and surprising. Everything is done seeking a personal language, as free as possible, and showing every single moment ideas and emotions of the two pianists.
