This is a song my friend Sarah and I wrote.

Lyrics:

I was walking home from yesterday. I thought I heard you say that you were late for your grandmothers cremation. But when I looked behind me I found I couldnt find you. I thought I saw your shadow, but it must have been the lighthouse. You shine just like a lighthouse. I know Ive said it all before and maybe once you heard me but then you looked away.

(the next two verses are sung at the same time)

I liked the way your hands looked when I taught you how to braid my hair; you couldnt get the hang of it. I wore it all day. After you left I sat by my old piano. But it must have been the light house when I thought I heard you play.

My friends all said shes crazy when you jumped into the ocean even though the snow was falling. You came out blue and purple, you looked like a hydrangea;. a hydrangea that caught fire. But it must have been the lighthouse light landing on your skin.

(repeat first verse)

...hope you enjoy!
