okay so "now the old king is dead long live the king" thats when louises grandfather or father I forgot which one died.. also "shattered windows and the sounds of drums people couldn't believe what id become" when the angry mob came to versailes and brought them to paris and distroyd the house. they probably had drums they had heads on pitch forks and were showing it to them by the windows. That's true for anyone who still supports Bush, but not true for Republicans and people who supported Bush before he was elected. I am a very firm Democrat, but I respect and see the value of the most of the principles of the Republican party. Don't be such a partisan hack.

I don't believe it's about him; it's about Kings or leaders losing power in general. That's why some lines fit Bush, some lines fit Louis XVI and some lines fit biblical leaders. It's a song about what it feels like to have it all and then lose it.

Yeah, I guess Obama going to Chicago after graduating from law school to help families effected by layoffs, and all that other "horrible" community organizing he did for pretty much NO money isn't selfless at all. Is it?
