@liquidpig i didn't say than that wasn't true...but the word has copyright for any product with commercial objetives like a movie...if you want it to teach physics to the children that's ok, but if you want it for money like in a movie...there's already somebody with the copyright, valve.

@rainbowsix1998 That's not true, rainbowsix1998. Simply google for "half-life" and the second result is the Wikipedia article, which defines "half-life" (with the hyphen) as "the period of time it takes for a substance undergoing decay to decrease by half."

@liquidpig yeah, because the "normal" word it's half life , however valve has the copyright for half-life, and you can do that with any product, like pepsi, burger king, etc... and this movie it's named half-life...so thats wrong with the copyright
