  • Do more reps! Try doing squats every 5-6 days for the following:

    1 x 20

    1 x 20

    1 x 15

    1 x 12

    1 x 10

Add weight on each set, and the last 3 sets should be done to failure, meaning a weight you can't get any more reps with than what is suggested.

  • @fer111679 lifting too heavy does not cause your muscles to go through hypertrophy. You need to work them at reps to make them grow.

  • Ron, I lift really heavy but I have really small legs. My legs are strong but not muscular. What can I do?

  • @Laogangstaa squats and sprinting. look at a sprinters legs

  • Is their anyway i can work my thighs out with out having to use a machine?

  • Yes, you should never be stuck on the same weight or reps, always go up, doesnt matter if its just one pound, as long you always go up, or else your muscles will just get stone hard and small instead of big and strone hard.

  • shes my pride and joy!

  • :D true

  • The law of progressive overload simply says that you must increase the amount of reps or the weight lifted from time to time in order to ignite muscle growth.Actually it refers to any changes(up or down) in the training VOLUME,INTENSITY or FREQUENCY but many people cannot easily understand or translelate it to a routine. If a program does not have this principle is totally failure.
