Although it was FREEZING, I absolutely loved diving in Puget Sound. There are over 30 dive areas and an abundance of HUGE marine life. It's so amazing how the local divers have taken care of their underwater parks and made it so awesome for other people to enjoy. There are underwater mazes, paths, man-made reefs, and more. If you like to dive, make it here... All I had was a 7mm suit, but next time I will be dry-suit certified. :] Enjoy my photos.

We have some cool stuff up in hood canal, giant Octo's, wolf eels, giant sunflower starfish, it is damn cold though .

wow! 1st comment! i learned how to dive in the sound. i was stationed in washington. im very fortunate that i got to go diving 3-4 times per week there. youre right, its cold as hell and some people dont like it. i loved the sound. i went down to the keys twice this year and loved it as well, but i would glady go back to the frigid waters of washingtons puget sound!
