  • One of my all favourites. With reference to Ferrone it is all subjective. Ferrone is a session player and first call players are with out doubt some of the best players arounds full stop. He is playing as they wanted. Just check out the man but fair call if the band has been one of your favourites , like mine.

  • never ever heard them live.. im f,in astounded blown away... bands like this deserve so much more credit than this...WOW lost for words

  • There don't seem to be a lot of well-known covers of this song by other groups, (correct me if I am wrong). Who else could sing that "do-ont...ha-ave...to live like a ref-u-gee", this is truly a signature. Also, TP/H has a lot of guitarage per square foot of stage, that helps with their sound I suppose... :)

  • Stan Lynch was a way better drummer than this Steve Ferrone.

  • Mike Campbell is great. One of the best understated guitarists in the business. But I also like the crisp and tough sound of drummer Steve Ferrone. He was a great addition to the band. And I have to add, Refugee, the first song on their breakthrough album Damn the Torpedoes, is one of their signature songs. And nothing beats their live sound.

  • Mike Campbell is AMAZING on his Solo.

  • Can't wait to see him in Indy on July 10. This will be our 6 time. I've listened to him since 79 and noone compares, Maybe Neil Young. We love youTom Petty. Thanks for giving us something to look forward to, A album and a tour. Your music will live forever.

  • MIke F'n rocks!! Have been right in front of him in 3 shows in the second and first rows in Detroit.
