How to restring a Floyd Rose Tremolo by Armand (Part1) COMPLETE WALKTHROUGH

In the video I mention about balancing the tremolo to be parallel to the body:

If you are tuning it up and it starts to rise above the body, tune the strings back down and THEN tighten up the springs in the back.

If the guitar is in tune but the Trem is still leaning inward to the body, then just loosen up the springs in the back.

I recommend you loosen both screws if you do (as opposed to just loosening one) and in quarter-turn increments.

Hey man. I use skinny top heavy bottoms too, and I just recently bought my first guitar with a floyd on it. Since the skinny top heavy bottoms are like 2 different gauges of strings in one, do you need to compensate accordingly with the springs? like, put 2 springs on one side and 1 on the other?

@santabamf666 It would be a good idea, but it's not that important. Most people would just distribute them evenly.

you need to release the slack from the strings before you tighten up the locking nut, dont you? or it goes out of tune, even with the nut on.

Does taking all the strings off warp your truss rod/neck? Does it do any damage to your guitar? I have heard many people say not to take all the stress of the strings off the guitar...what is your opinion?

floyd roses are pain in the ass!!!! i bought a guitar with it long ago and it was fucking awesome till a string decided to break.... tried to re string it with videos, i even sent it to repairment and it still was out of tune so i gave it up it's still in my closet xD
