This is PART 2 of the Glock 34 vs. S&W M&P Pro video. We will start off with a review of the targets that I shot while at the range and move on to the shooting portion after about 3 minutes. IPSC Shooter/reviewer "DC" will make a guest appearance to do a brief bit of fast shooting for a little different perspective. In summery, the 34 and M&P both appeal to be greatly. The M&P appeals to me more on the desktop and in my hand while they're both perform essentially equal on the range.

  • Just watched part 1 and 2. Very informative and non-biased. Thank you, very well done.

  • @tiltbackjack Really appreciate the view and comments. Thanks for watching man!

  • I'm in the market for a S&W M&P and had to come to this channel to see a video of it. Excellent video.

  • @chanderson1 I must say that's it's a heck of a nice Christmas present to have you stop by and compliment one of my videos. I still like the M&P a lot! I'm a glock guy at heart but the M&P just has so much character. I'm a glock and M&P armorer and still can't decide which I like best. I know you'll enjoy yours brother!

  • @Patriot36 I've been going over some of your videos and came across this one. You do a very comprehensive comparison on the two guns. I think after viewing this, I find that the M&P is a great high value pistol. Do you think your opinions would be different if you had not chosen the "Pro Series" M&P and did the comparison with the standard M&P? Just curious if there was much of a difference between the standard and the pro series.

  • @chanderson1 I probably would have favored the G34 had it been compared to the standard M&P. The reason I say this is because the primary accuracy and confidence inspiring interfaces are the trigger and sights. The fact that its noticeably better on the Pro accounts for a lot in my book. I think the standard M&P is best compared to a G17 & where the dilemma of choice is likewise difficult. I shoot them similarly but would suggest one try both to see if that's the case for them. :)

  • Great vid, im considering one of these for practical matches it was good to see them in action side by side in competent hands. awesome vid, keep it up.

  • Great vids. One thing you didn't cover (I think) are the differences in grip. Right now I believe only the M&P offers different backstrap options vs Glock 34 (at least until the Gen4 comes out). My hands are on the smaller side so that alone would push me to buy the M&P pro (actually thinking about the 40sw version).

  • @Patriot36 okay, makes sense to compare the G17 to the standard M&P. I'm going to shoot several M&Ps at a friends range this week. Hopefully I can pick up one this week. Thanks for the fast reply! Have a great new year buddy!

  • @SuperShooterX Probably answered before in part 1 or 2 but it's just a preference during slow fire. By completely coming off the trigger, the finger pad is re-sensitized after each shot. In other words you start with a fresh feel and compression of the tissues each time. This would be a handicap during rapid fire, doubles, etc, but works when I'm really trying to feel the trigger precisely. It's an old technique from bullseye and silhouette shooting. Thx 4 watching.
