Love how Bert gets frantic after "NINE!" hopping around and whining, he must have been holding his breath. Ernie looks at him as if to delibrately hold out.

I agree the complete version of this segment should be aired; with Bert banging his head and screaming into the camera. I agree that is the funniest part and why should it be a problem? Don Music DOES bang his head all the time on the piano; why should the one with Bert be any different? It adds so much to the ending of this sketch. A lot.

I just want people to know that Noggin or SW didn't cut the ending on the DVD and TV. The editors choose how long the segment runs, so there was no time in the episode to air the complete ending. Take the Pigeon checkers sketch for example. A 2007 episode ran the complete ending with a post-roll ad-lib, while other airings didn't.

I recently saw the Hebrew version of this,
and it had 4 more seconds, with a total
time of 3:48. Ernie recited the alphabet
all the way to "F" before it ended! Ernie
just didn't care about Bert interupting him
anymore, so he completely adlibed, and
Bert left screaming out of the apartment.

Will you ever be able to post that? That last couple seconds when Bert runs screaming into the camera is the best!

Why do they need to cut that out? Don Music bangs his head all the time in his piano.
