What do people mean when they claim they played the main stage at Burning Man. It's an art festival. There's no main stage.

@misssuckerface we performed on two of the largest stages at Burning Man, Temple of Boom and Fractal Nation. Although Burning Man doesn't have 'one' main stage it does have several featured large performance stages.  :)

I like Lucent Dossier but this film fails in demonstrating the beauty and essence of this troupe. Rather, it gives a message that is demeaning, disrespectful, & even violent toward women. This is portrayed by how the main character with the dreads is treated. She is some kind of prisoner, confused & scared the whole time. When she is found she is kidnapped, fondled, & disrespected in numerous ways by this scary troupe. There is NOTHING POSITIVE about this film. It left a bad taste in my heart :(

@dropaflo There is no main stage in Black Rock City except maybe the Man Base on Saturday Night. Maybe you could tell me that when I've performed Fire Conclave I'm playing the Main Stage but I still wouldn't easily buy it. None of your conditions change what a main stage is. Visit me at the DPW Depot anytime in August or September and I can show you what I think art is. Or will you be busy playing the Main Stage at Troll Fest 2012 cause you didn't win a ticket in the lottery?

So if my trumpet is being played for 500 people instead of 5, does that turn my self aggrandizing bucket into a main stage? What if those 5 people are the heads of a major label that are about to sign me? Will I still be considered an insecure amature? Main Stage is just a word. Get off your high horse and appreciate art. It seems to me that you have locked urself in a room that's far less free than mine.
