Here is Bernie Marsden from Whitesnake playing at the opening of Trevor Durrant Guitar Centre.

He played two other songs as well, both were bluesy, great guitarist though.

  • When I auditioned for the Heartbeats in Gordon Giltrap's "Redan Recorders" studio in 1980 - Bernie was recording the guitars in the studio for a track called "Light of the World". Sounded amazing.

2 days later I returned for the one-man shortlist and cooked a stir-fry with Cheryl Baker during the break - where I got to hear the completed track with vocals. Never heard it again but it was real good , so was the food.

Heartbeats had Rory Wilson from my band "Broken Home" - small world innit?

  • I was there!

He was pretty damn good. There weren't enough people for it to be fair D:

  • awsome blues and rock player...probably one of the best

  • Bluesboy Bernie!! 5*

  • This guy is cool. Awesome guitar too
