fantastic - i wonder how you do that in Flash. Do you paint all things manually or does it have kind of a morphing function?

You can use Flash to make 2-D animations (one drawing per frame). Most of this was done that way.
Near the end there are some "Transform: shape" functions that I used to fade a background out to clear, and also for the title to "Transform: shape" into the image of the five circles.
