  • to all the people rushing down to the freetown forest to rescue abondoned dogs. dont just pick up a dog you see loose in the forest because you might be stealing someones prized hunting dog. its illegal to take a hunting dog that does not belong to you while hunting. hunting hours are 24/7 365 days a year. no matter what weather. just call the police and notify that their is a loose dog in the freetown forest and chances are if its a hound its owners are near by and will catch it when its done

  • sum dogs mite be lost wal ppl walk them at Freetown-Fall River State Forest

  • I got a dog from there!

  • Just saw a piece on the news that said apparently someone is soliciting people and getting them to talk about the expense of having a diog, then offering to place the dog in a home for them for a fee. He then drops them off in the forest, which is why there are so many that have been found there.

  • Does the shelter have regularly scheduled euthanasia days? I live closebye. How much is an adoption fee?
