It's got the triplet feel which is good enough for me. Strictly abiding by a set of rules has a place in music, but so does a nursery rhyme. His interpretation may not meet your criteria, but it is close enough. He may be bending some of those rules, but he isn't breaking them.

@davekeays He's playing a lot of melodies common in blues shuffles and guitar boogie but it's not in shuffle time (which is what characterizes that kind of song).

Ah, thanks thats very helpfull. I'm 'translating' it to paper now, but I got some difficulties from ~0:22 to ~0:27. That part, could you 'translate' that for me. (so I dont have to wait 6 months for the lesson xD). Thank you in advance.

Can you explain the 'strumming' part. Ive got some difficulties with that. Do you strum the top strings like: Down Down Down Down or Down Up Down Up?
