I recently took my two year little boy to Tweetsie and ever since he has been train crazy, I found this video a few weeks ago and we have been watchin it everyday, he wakes up goes to my laptop and says choo choo and he wont stop till I go to this video (is added to my fav. now) But I have to say this video is better then most out there, the sound is great and #12's whistle sounds awesome!!

hey does anybody know when each engine usually operates each year? im heading up there next week and im just curious which engine will be pulling the train.

190 will more that likely be on the point. 12 hasn't been used since Thomas the "Bank"Engine. She will soon e getting prepared for Railfan Weekend.

@TVRM610 what i find funny is that scott one of the engineers there said #12 uses more coal and water then 190 yet 190 is 3 ft longer and opperates at 185 psi while 12 opperates at 180 psi

I would assume they would use #190 more since it is bigger and technically should have more power. But how often do you see an operating 4-6-0 anywhere? #12 is by far my favorite of the 2 locomotives.
