just got my launchpad all set up with MLRv & ableton and I'm just curious as to what kind of quantization setting you're using in MLRv? I like having everything fitting together but I've found that leaving the quantize on none makes for the best chops

@evenfloyd personally I prefer effectrix and artillery over the finger any day, NI plugins are CPU beasts and you can get pretty much the same results out of it.
