Its hard to do snare rolls on an electric kit

Info:

The kit is a Roland TD-3KW.

Equipment:

1 Jack Lead
1 Plug2Plug lead
1 Jack Lead End (the silver bit you plug in)
Guitar Amp
Headphones

Recording:

To get the sound quality clear on the recording, i plug my drums into a guitar amp i do not use Gain or Contour on the it, just volume, and put the jack end (silver bit you plug in on a jack lead) on one end of the plug2plug lead, and that goes into the guitar amp, and the other end into microphone input on the computer. Open a recording program, and get the levels right, and record i dont really put compression, Reverb, ect. on the track, because the sound is fine as it is. i record audio and video seperate, and i do my best to line them up in perfect sync, but youtube then takes it out of sync by like a few milliseconds.

soo i plugged jack to amp and form amp to computer ? How gain and tone are set?

Why you directly dont plugged to computer but to the amp . How does it sound without amp . Have you tried ?

sweet, i dont use any gain, or tone, just volume.

I use an amp becausem i think, when you plug directly into the computer, the sound is too "bassy", so thats why i use a guitar amp, because it has more treble
