'Chinese stay home' remark just advice, says Ibrahim

Perkasa head Ibrahim Ali said his call for the Chinese community to stock up on food for July 9 was a mere advice, not a threat.

The remark was made at a Perkasa launch last Sunday against the Bersih 2.0 rally which will be held on July 9 in Kuala Lumpur, to create awareness about the need for electoral reforms.

"When I said the Chinese community had better stay at home and (see) if they need to stock up on food, what does that mean? That means usually when there are protests, I don't see the Chinese joining in.

You ask the Chinese to stay at home during the bersih rally and just let the Malays go.

According to Wikipedia and some news sites you promised earlier to bring 15 thousand Perkasa supporters to counter the Bersih rally,yet you was nowhere to be seen on the day.Instead you gave some lame excuse that you were unwell and did not get yourwife's permission to attend the rally.
