The world's first interactive paper computer is set to revolutionize the world of interactive computing. "This is the future. Everything is going to look and feel like this within five years," says creator Roel Vertegaal, the director of Queen's Univ. Human Media Lab. "This computer looks, feels and operates like a small sheet of interactive paper. You interact with it by bending it into a cell phone, flipping the corner to turn pages, or writing on it with a pen." Source: Queen's Univ. CA

@robman285 You are right! We should focus on the concept but not the details. It is innovative and creates more possibilities for our future!

all you people dissing this need to realize how i-phones, i-pads, androids, etc... all got started. Nothing is instant perfect. They are just now coming up with the idea! To show the basic movements. Once that is complete they will work on the design... most likely very clear display with all wires, etc.. enclosed in a sleek covering. It takes time in the development. Your nice sleek i-phone looked even worse than this in it's first stages on experimentation.

Amazing tech, but couldn't they have made it look more cool? Wearing it or using it as an awkward phone is lame. The real advantage seems to be that it's flexibility could let you easily fold up and carry around a bigger screen. The breakthrough here is a bendable device so let us see how well it can bend!
