  • official scorecards had Duran ahead after 12 rounds...Duran boxed and counterpunched against Hagler...Hagler's too strong!

  • Hagler was on PED's. Watch his fights. The entire fight he gets plastered with hard shots and doesn't even flinch. We're are talking about HUGE punchers here: Duran, Leonard, Hearns, etc. And to move blink an eye when you take one to the face round after round is suspect to me. That might be blasphemy, but I don't buy, especially the way guys cheated in the 80's.

  • @Inukshuk67 Only if Big George wouldn't have retired in the 80's for the HW's.

  • Two of the greatests.

  • HAGLER TE VENDISTE COMO ES POSIBLE QUE ACABASTE CON THOMY HEARS Y NO PUDISTE CON DURAN NI CON SUGAR ERES UN FIASCO DE PERSONA Y QUE EL BOX TE OLVIDE PRONTO

  • Lol Duran still wanted to go after the fight with Hagler. Duran gained a lot of respect after getting knocked out by Hitman Hearns to then go 15 rounds with probably the greatest middleweight ever.

  • The golden age of boxing. It will never be as good as it was during that era. At least there are the memories...

  • @sweetassugar69 Considering how close it was in '87 between Hagler and Leonard , it's near-impossible to predict who would have won had they fought four years previous. Leonard admitted that Hearns won their second fight, so if they had never met in '81, you could have argued that Hearns would have won had they fought in their primes. Duran was a smart fighter, and timed Hagler's jab. Once Hagler began mixing it up, he earned a derseved win.

  • this where hagler showed his limitations against a very and clever and underestimated duran. duran was a natural lightweight 130 pounds and hagler a natural 160 so anybody says hagler would have walked throught leonard in 1983 you need to think again, right after the fight duran walked up to leonard and said you box him you will beat him.. hagler always had trouble against clever fighters and this is the proof !!!!! leonard would have beat him 1983 also !!!

  • @unmensunshne LOL yeahh right you just want someone to talk too
