Quantum Mechanics has blended the particle, wave, and cloud models of the atom into a single theory and uses favorable features of each to answer every question. The mathematicians have thus rendered the QM model unfalsifiable.

On the other hand, the EM Thread model of the atom is consistent with the descriptions offered by theorists and images taken by researchers in the field.

2. If Joule had explained his experiment beginning with the naming of all the objects -- seen and unseen -- that HE proposes are present we would have all understood WHAT he was talking about! It is when the mathematicians reify concepts that they are peddling snake oil.
