@TIEFTR202 where i live if there is a fire or anything envolving fire trucks the police will go there just to block off the streets and re-direct traffic. Also if its a car crash they are always the first ones to respond

@TIEFTR202 Same here in the UK. Because Police patrol regularly than a doctor car that gets called out. Police will respond get information, pass it onto the Fire Rescue Service and the Ambulance Service when the arrive on scene.

@Toronto324 probly only in certian states i know here in chicago police do not respond to a resuce call that is handled by fire&rescue only police only respond if the nature of the call had violence included

um was this a setup because they drovw away very very slow and why is the PD with the FD in my city we dont do that at all inless they trail the EMT of FD

one question why does police respond with fire dept well here in my city if theres a fire or somthing fire dept goes and thats it no police response unless its needed like gun shot or knifing or somthing violent

PD here acts as a fire responder unit. They give first in reports that get relayed to EMS and Fire units. That being said, they do not always respond with our units. If something major is going on, a police officer will not respond.
