IT'S A SIN that there never was a rush2049 pinball game,and hot rod rebels was never finished.Midway management kinda sucked for that and look what happened to midway R.I.P.

I've LOVED the Rush series for the longest time; the games offered some of the most entertaining, engaging, and challenging gameplay in the racing genre. The disregard for realism/simulation offered an opportunity to do some of the most creative and ridiculous stuff, and it was always a blast.
I was phenomenally disappointed when Midway released "LA Rush," and have always wanted a return to the Rush 2/2049 type of game :/ Barry Leitch was the best music choice, too! :P Thanks for many fun hours

They have worked for Atari games? Great!
Can you tell me exactly when Atari Games has closed? When Atari bought Midway Games? Took all programmers of Midway Atari? Who has after the bankruptcy of the entire documentation of Atai Midway Games? They were done in the trash?
Thank you!

This being my biggest arcade addiction ever, I really have a question to make...
Are those "tricks" that let me finish the rock in less than 40 seconds bugs or features? (sorry for not being much obvious, I don't want to give any spoiler... I'm sure it's documented anywhere in the interwebs anyway)

Wow. Real arcade sf2049 footage. If only sf2049 could work in MAME right now because it doesn't work. Can u help with getting sf2049 to work?

Rush 2049 Special/Tournament Edition HD should be on XBLA/PSN as well as San Francisco Rush:Extreme Racing HD, Rush:The Rock Alcatraz Edition HD, and the N64 Exclusive Rush 2 HD that will make my life :)

I found out the hard way.

@AlliedMaruaderTank19 The original Rush doesn't even work well on MAME yet.
2:32 epic jump

@clubpenguin168
There's a ramp on the right side of the start/finish line that gets more. I remember watching our two testers: one would drive forward for two laps and hang out about 100' from this jump. The other tester would drive *backwards* while the other drove forwards. Then, the second racer would start from the top of the hill along the final straightaway, the first racer would accelerate towards the jump. The second racer would rear-end the first at the end of the ramp. THAT'S EPIC!

That's interesting. So you really used to work for Midway?

Absolutely love this game, paid infinite to finally clear the coins at the top of the half-pipe on track 1. Think I'll dump another $20 into it this weekend! Thanks for posting this Steve

@SupermotoJohn 'half-pipe on track 1'? You know that the video shows me driving up and down inside the legs of the giant Atari 'Fuji' logo! ( it looks like this in ascii: /|\ ) I think there's a good shot of the structure (including the interior wireframe) on one of my blogs, along with a little write-up: stv2049.blogspot.com
Enjoy!
