(PS2) Tomb of Tihocan - Alligator Pit Slope Shortcut

Note: I am NOT a speedrunner, so my videos are not perfect. I'm uploading these as a way of showing people the shortcuts and glitches that I have seen online and can prove whether or not they work on the PS2 version of Tomb Raider: Anniversary. They may work on other versions, they may not. I don't know, so please don't ask me about it.

Apologies about the video quality. I don't have a means of recording my console gaming except for taping off of the television with the digital camera.

This shortcut can be done two ways. The first is how I did it. Dive up the slope and immediately press jump. Lara will hook the ledge. The second way is a little quicker, but I couldn't do it because there were still alligators alive in the pit. To do the other way, ready your guns and backflip up the slope, pressing jump immediately to make her hook the ledge. Unfortunately, if there are alligators alive in the pit, Lara will aim at them, which makes backflipping up the slope impossible. Either way works just fine, though. Good luck.
