My 1977 Ford F-150 4x4 Restoration

This is my first you tube video, sorry i don't own a camcorder. This is my truck a 1977 Ford F-150 4x4 that me and my Dad are restoring, it has been a great experience! and i only wish every one could do this with there Dad!, The truck was only rwd when i bought it in September of 2007, its in a frame off restoration, the engine is a older rebuilt 1971 302, and a modded 80's Lincoln AOD (automatic over drive) transmission. The mint (surface rust) frame came with a NP205 transfer case and 9" 3:50 Ford rear end and the front axle is a Dana 44 3:50, this video will be followed up with a another video once i have more done on the truck, for now the box is not in body work stage yet! And i plan on getting some bigger tires for those rims, in the 32" range in a mud terrain tire. Please comment on the video, but please no harsh comments! as i will erase them and block you! well i will say this, of all the Fords my family has owned and owns, i have never been stranded, and i have never had a break down in one, now i have been left stranded by Dodges and GM products more than once, so for me everyone else is a blur, as i pass them by on the road in my Ford! also you hate Fords, yet you have a '79 F-250, now that makes me laugh! :) its much better to like Fords, then to hate them!

also i have been able to sell parts off the truck as we come across other parts, sold the 9" rear end for $200 and maybe i might have the old tailgate sold for $100 and then i have a extra hood, the owner gave me a really nice one, thus i got a extra hood for sale, then i have a set of headers that came with the truck but ironically don't fit, ah well they would have never have fit anyways when we put the truck on the 4x4 frame, the dang full length headers run into the front drive shaft!

@BRENTHENRY1989 dude when my dad still drove the truck i drive it broke down. 94 f150. heres the story. the engine came with push rods that werent 1 piece. so the ball broke off one at the top and he had to replace it. before that it ate through a stock push rod like nothing cause it was such a tough rebuild engine. so now it has solid 1 piece push rods and has been fine since. absolutely no probs i just keep up on the maintenance.

@BRENTHENRY1989 Exactly. He hates his own truck. You have to replace parts every year on GM rigs, Fords last, Chevy's and GMC's, don't.

awwe man nice truck but one thing... with the frame.. no problems with it jus a suggestion or something idk if you have looked into it but did you ever think of getting your frame powdercoated? just wondering not trying to talk you down or pick it apart or anything i was jus wondering if you knew about it..? any way beautiful truck man
