SJ and XC Carlton PC Training 1.8.11

I love my horse so much! After having a pretty crap year so far things seem to be on the up. I've been doing a lot of training with him recently with Val Gingell particularly in XC and he seems to be improving all the time. He's getting stronger through his back and is much fitter than he was.
We did a round of SJ at around 90cm and he was fine as it's fairly small for him. We then had a play in the XC and just did all the difficult stuff which may be a problem at Area 8 Eventing this coming weekend. Ditches, Steps, Drop jumps into dark etc. Most of the jumps are BE 100 with a couple of BE 90's. He did do the Novice drop into water though and didn't even blink so I was so chuffed!
Anyway, I have flat training on Thursday and then the Areas on Sat (we're doing the Intermediate which is BE 100 level) so fingers crossed he keeps improving!!

@RuthieXx93 thanks :) i'm with cambridgeshire hunt. i'm an individual in the intermediate. i like isleham and i qualified for championships last time it was held there so fingers crossed it's good again!
