@shingamikid So you are suggesting that using more compounds of your body makes it less of a compound exercise? If the goal is strength training wouldn't you want to incorporate as many muscle groups as possible in order to load more weight. If this makes the lifting easier, good, add more weight, now you are stronger.
It basically turns this from a compound exercise, into a glorified leg press. Once you involve them in the press you lose out on exercising many muscle groups. Your legs are very capable of lifting more than your arms which pretty much kills any reason for using them to assist with your lockout above your head . The only thing push pressing improves is being able to lockout more weight at the top, which isn't as helpful as getting a full range of motion from training the actual muscle groups.
Video 1 doesn't have a demo of the proper form. Maybe you should take your own advice and look it up before telling someone else not to be stupid. Tool.

i didnt have my elbows in front of the bar today! i pushed the weight up straight into my chin :-(...... should have watched this video beforehand
