I have a 1998 Range Rover 4.0 SE. I had the air suspension removed. I want to turn into into an off road type vehicle. I looked into some tires but that's all! Any advice? I am not looking for xtreme offroad, just ameteur, basic mud, snow, hills & trails. Other than tires, any suggestions?

I'll pit your range rover against my cheap old Cherokee any time .I think rovers are beautiful SUV (shopping utility vehicles), and completely mall rated. Only down side is repair costs, like 500 for a radiator parts alone...and you think that motor would make 600 K miles?

this is the last Range Rover edition to be called an Off Road car... New Range Rovers have been good big SUVS but not for "dirty" tracks
Old range rover were good, but now...
English people keep saying they're the best off-road vehicles and other shit.
Rang Rover is not even english anymore.
From 1994 till 2000 it was owned by BMW, then by Ford and now it's owned by Tata Motors which is Indian.
So that those fkcing english pricks can fk your notorious range rovers and it's not even yours.

Guess what...... LAND ROVER's are still built in the UK, and to make you even more wrong, I have spoken with some of the guys in the UK and they said that Land Rover has remained virtually untouched by Tata, and is still run by Land Rover, throughout the years they have just benefited by getting different engines and other companies stealing some of their technology.... You couldn't be more wrong..... Land Rover is still Brittish and always will be

plus.... Their plants are still in the UK, so they are still built in the UK, Tata just owns them, and from what I read Ratan Tata is a great business man and I'm glad he owns Land Rover.

Don't the new Range Rover's have rear locker's? I have seen a few of the new big body Rangie's off road, I think the big deal is who makes enough money to put a brand new range rover in a compromising position off road! The P38 in this video has Interco 33" SS M-16's on it now and a skid plate and belongs to an Army guy now!! But I miss that truck, now I have a 98 Disco to build as affordably as possible!
