PART TWO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQpo7AxU3nc

Geek out on this tech heavy segment of SubPixel where Brendan explains the limitations of WEP protection on wireless networks, then show you how to crack a WEP passkey using a thumbdrive and the Linux distro Backtrack3; and hopefully scares you away from using WEP to secure your network in the future.

This is part 1 of 2.

  • on the new site i can only find ISO files or VMWare files... where the file i need to download to but it on a memory stick? is it the ISO or WNWware?

    thanks :)

  • @daviddavve you'll need the ISO. You may be able to use UNebootin to make a bootable USB thumbdrive version, but I've never tested this. Search Google to get it.

  • is that a samsung nc10 netbook?

  • It's the old school EeePC 701.
