@irishbluejay First of all, that's a quote from the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution. Secondly, food also prolongs life, as does a house. Do you have a RIGHT to a home and food. Do you have a RIGHT to clothing? Using your moronic logic I could argue that everything is a right because it "prolongs life."
Listening to music reduces stress levels. Lower stress levels prolong life. Therefore, owning an iPOD is a right for everyone.

in america they even make up illnesses. in a socialised healthcare you will recieve the complete truth. it is a right if they can use money to kill people to fund their greedy friends they can give you healthcare. besides imagine this nobody owns anything it stays with earth if their was none of this capitalist bullshit everyone will look out for eacother and everyone will share healthcare,food, clothing,shelter to make sure one human being is not excluded

Its funny that in a primitive jungle tribe if a tribe member falls ill the tribe will care for the fallen member as best they can. How is a nation different from a tribe. You would soon be called up to fight for your fellow 'tribe members' in your nation if there was a threat without any choice (defense) - why don't you think a tribemember/citizen who has fallen ill does't have some form of roght to help?
