our dog was 43 inch as well but we didn't advertise it. He was well loved !!

had a great dane the same size as this one. he died in early june. he was 11 yrs old.

this dog grew from 39 to 43 inches over one night (after he found out that titan was 42 1/2 inches) i have pics from his website to prove his 39 inch measurment (now longtime removed ofcourse)

Your absolutely right the official way to measure a dog is from ground to withers/shoulders. Anyone who shows dogs knows the the proper way to measure a dog is at the withers. Its the Universal way to measure a dog.
