In 1993 when aviation sector was opened to private participation, this sector grew at a last pace. A large number of Aircrafts were inducted to fill the vaccum in air operations. However, training the manpower takes time. Building institutions takes time. Hence availability of manpower could not keep pace with the growth in aviation sector.

Star Aviation Academy has taken up this challenge to fulfill the Industries requirement of providing aviation professionals. At Star Aviation Academy, our experienced and knowledgeable faculty ensures that we produce a task force which meets the requirements of maintenance and safe operation of present day sophisticated aircraft. At Star Aviation Academy, we lay stress on theoretical and practical training so that confident and knowledgeable maintenance personnel are available to the aviation industry.

Star Aviation Academy is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India to impart Training in Light Aircraft, Piston Engine & Jet Engine.

We provide quality training for the budding engineers. With modern training aids, well equipped workshops, well stocked library and experienced instructors, we impart to the students the skills which they would need in their daily life as Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. Since they will be required to work on modern aircraft which are mostly based and controlled by computers at every level, we equip our students with sufficient theoretical knowledge of these systems and an ability to handle computers. Various computer based instructional CD's help the student to be conversant with handling of the modern Aircraft and their technical literature. Our faculty, having had the privilege of working in senior positions in various airlines, knows exactly what is required from the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.

We endeavour to give our students, in addition, an overview of Modern Communication Systems used in Aircraft and Airlines. A familiarization with International Airlines Communication systems and Maintenance Control System is a must for the modern engineer.

The Star Aviation Academy is situated at P-76, New Palam Vihar, Gurgaon, Haryana about 17 km from Delhi Airport.
