You don't say? What you could have realised, when you had taken a step back and thought before posting your answer, is the latin script. Nobody in the western world could pronounce "Bbk" correctly, but that is essentially how the name's spelled in persian. If that's pronounced bObAk or bAbAk or bObOk or versions with other vowls depends on usance, local dialect and tradition. Vocal sounds (!) are (mostly) not written. (Again, that changes when translating to latin script!)
