That Gene Simmons interview about Peter leaving was interesting, "never fired, and never quit"- still part of the partnership.

the reason they dont mention peter being fired, is because at that time, kiss didnt want to incriminate peter, it was what was best for kiss at that time, same reason ace appeared on "creatures" cover cause the fans wouldntve been able to handle ace leaving.

why doesn't gene just say that peter is messed up and can't handle life with kiss, and this opens up the door for gene to make more cash, get a paid sideman to sit in for peter, pay him a weekly rate, and get more cash instead of deviding the profits 4 ways, now 3, then after ace, gene and paul got everything,

I cant tell you how huge kiss was in the minds of youth at this time. They were like a fricken entity that stopped people in thier tracks. You could critisize them for what were called gimmicks but it was received like water offf a ducks back. Why? because no one could deny they loved what they did. AND IT SHOWED. They gave so much on stage.
