Hi all at last I got around to working on my TJ2A again and here it is a short demo of it working on receive on 20m , The band was not very lively but it never is when you want to test something. Thanks to YOUKITS for all the help. Next step get the TX side working. Malcolm G4IHZ

Only problem now is that the RF seems a little unstable can take off sometimes and I have frequency error between TX and RX. Hope to get time and sort these issues out in next few days. Will keep you all informed. Think I need to do the calibration again.

Hi all just an update for you . I changed over to the Optional 40m Crystal much more sensible for European Operation and wired up the PA transistor. Tried Transmitting and imediatly the RX went low gain when I went back to receive. I found that two caps 470pf in the input/output filter had blown, changed them both and now have output on both bands just over 4w output.
