Club Buzz Stage (1 of 2)

"Calling All Space Scouts... A Buzz Lightyear Adventure" performed at Disneyland's Tomorrowland's Club Buzz stage. The stage was located with Club Buzz: Lightyear's Above the Rest restaurant.

Space cadet Starla sings her heart out about becoming a space ranger just like her hero: Buzz Lightyear. Buzz Lightyear arrives and believes he has defeated evil once and for all with the capture of Evil Emperor Zurg. But Zurg has plans of his own... Also featuring the Little Green Men.

Opened June 2001 (said to be a test to see audience reaction for Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters) and closed fall 2005 shortly after the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters attraction opened. Stage props and the "Lightyear's Above the Rest" label were removed, but the theme, and paint remained. Finally, after Labor Day weekend of 2006, the restaurant will return as Tomorrowland Terrace and a Jedi Training Academy opened as part of the Year of a Million Dreams campaign.

I did this show! I missed it. I was approved for Buzz and Club owner, the dudes that got the audience pumped before each show. I miss it so much, I had fun doing this.

@darkmonkey02, I missed out on the "warm-up guy" in the beginning. Was not even aware of it. Did you basically teach the audience the little dance move?? The sung a little of this song at Flashback this year.

Tim does the voice in the feature films and attractions. For the TV Series and this show, it's Patrick. With the exception of the Feature Length Buzz Lightyear movie that was split into episodes for the TV show.

This was a cute little show. Obviously not the greatest thing in the world, and its for the best that its gone now, but it was still cute.

Because this show is based on the short-lived "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" cartoon show, and Patrick Warburton was Buzz's voice in the cartoon.
