If you unite for and protect your common history, heritage/ancestry, language, culture or religion, it's all about a group with one common goal or one common interest, and it's all nationalism. In the end he even talks about Muslims creating "the best of all nations". Pan-Islamism or a worldwide Islamic Caliphate/government is religious-nationalism, where the nation and it's members just are defined by religion instead of ethnic background or culture.

Islamism is nationalism too, religious-nationalism. It doesn't matter what you unite for and protect - common history, ancestry/heritage, language, religion, it's the same, it's all nationalism.

The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Let people stop boasting about their ancestors. One is only a pious believer or a miserable sinner. All men are sons of Adam, and Adam came from dust" (Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi).

@aghati Asalamulaikum. I think in order for you to understand the essence of his lecture you need look into the founders of Nationalism and who created it. Especially in the modern age as he states in one of his previous lectures. The kaffar's themselves segregated and divided the Muslim Ummah, so if you continue this work of Nationalism them you surely are amongst the ignorant and misguided. We as Muslims should come together and re-unite as one.

I guess this guy missed out on the iyaah that says:

انا خلقناكم من ذكر و انثى و جعلناكم شعوبا و قبائل لتعارفوا, ان اكرمكم عند الله اتقاكم

"People, We have created you all male and female and have made you nations and tribes so that you would recognize each other. The most honorable among you in the sight of God is the most pious of you. God is All-knowing and All-aware."

Surah al-Hujurat (49:13)

This speaker needs to read the Qoran and analyse it before claiming that such and such is kufr
