A simple examination of the life and the choice. And the first release in the "Love Life" series by Fallible Blogma.
Many people don't realize that because state laws restricting late-term abortions include exceptions for the "health of the mother" (physical, mental or otherwise) that abortions can legally still occur up until the moment of birth. The loose interpretation of what the "health of the mother" means effectively allows abortions to happen for just about any reason at any time.
Basically, if somebody wants to kill their baby for any reason at all, they can easily have it done legally - even if the baby is only minutes younger than this baby.

(The so called abortion guy took her money then raped her without doing anything that he had promised.)

I recently spoke with a teenager who was pregnant but could not afford to travel outside of the state. Her boyfriend knew a 'guy', So she booked a hotel room where she handed over to this man 400 dollars. He took the money then raped her and left. She is still pregnant and utterly degraded. She will soon be having a Late Term Abortion in England.
Prolife laws lead to this.

@vidamia91 Thank you. Nothing in life is simple. I also value your compassion for what you call the unborn, however, I feel your compassion is misplaced.
I genuinely feel that pro-life legislation hurts women and children.
And I do understand exactly what is involved in an abortion.

@prochoicecliniescort I'm truly sorry that is the case. I realize your job is a particularly sad one, & that there is a huge amount of stress & anxiety experienced by the women involved as well. I appreciate your good intentions, those being to help women, & ultimately save children from the abuse & neglect of being unwanted. I thank you for citing the law. I try not to be arrogant. That said, I, personally, cannot agree that abortion is ever the best solution for women. Logical? Yes. Best? No.

@vidamia91 I'd be happy to. Every week I have the sad job of escorting/helping young women to leave their homes and their families and travel to a foreign country to have a termination. I try to give as much help and support as I can but it is still immensely stressful on these women.
To answer your question Ireland's Right to Life amendment of 1983 has killed women and damaged families. Prolife ultimately hurt children. You have the luxury of arrogance because abortion is legal in the US.

@prochoicecliniescort Well, with all due respect, perhaps you ought to change your username to more clearly define and accomodate your stance on the abortion issue. And I would appreciate it if you could note/cite the (specifically prolife) laws which kill women, hurt children and damage society. I have not encountered such a law, but if I am misinformed, I would like to know exactly where the misinformation lies.

@vidamia91 let be me clear - I am pro- free legal abortion. Prolife laws kill women and hurt children and damage society.
I don't care about the unborn.

@prochoicecliniescort I disagree. Being truly ProLife is not compatible with promoting, performing or undergoing abortions. Many people who have had abortions while considering themselves prolife have used the phrase "I had no choice." Ironic, isn't it? I don't think anyone can truly call themselves "ProChoice" unless they work equally as hard to support and enable the woman's choice to have her baby as they do to promote abortion. Otherwise, they are simply ProAbortion.

@Sueezee1 for prolifers there is no moral abortion --- except their own.

@Sueezee1 Why would you presume that I am uneducated? I don't presume you to be uneducated. I was simply clarifying terms that for social and psychological reasons are commonly used just as I used them now, "fetus" for pre-birth and "baby" for post-birth...
