A Britisch President of the EU? how da hell does a brit can lead the EU? The Brits dídn't want the euro, the Britsch people don't approve the EU consitution (or lisbon treaty whatever u like to call it). Brits defended there Thatcher EU discount. Britten WANTS to be an outsider. And if a Brit wants the job, don't give it to a Bush azzkisser.

The people of Europe should elect the President of the European Union just like the way in which the President of the United States is elected. I say this only as the roles are similar and it is unfair for the politically elite to be able to elect a figurehead at that level of importance. I don't see Senators in the US electing the President.
