  • Dear Sean2112bd, maybe you like the look of drilling holes in your neck for that industrial exposed nut Floyd Rose crap, eh?

  • I'm a big Floyd guy but i really wanna get this to compliment it on different guitars because of the no modification. And, if you know what your doing and arent braindead, it doesnt take any more than 10min to do a full string change. less if you only need 1 string. I took out an old floyd, put in a new one, inotated it, and had it set up to a different string guage and tuning in 45 min. it's not that big of a deal

  • To me, the biggest issue with the Floyd is whenever you break a string...it takes three hours to get one back on, and you have to re-calibrate the whole thing, and all this bullshit, but it looks like it's fairly simple to re-string a Super-Vee. The other thing is, if you don't get a real-deal Original Floyd, it'll be a piece of shit. If you need pull up that bad, learn to bend strings.

  • @OfficialHollow Nope....

  • @TheJuicer1414 First thing i noticed too :-/ bet he's using a floyd for the samples

  • @whitelotus808 otherwise, its great. its like a floyd or a kahler with the action and never goes out of tune. but when the total price is over 300$ for the kit and instilation, youd might as well get the other one like I said. anyway, id like to see a side by side comparison between the supervee and the floyd. itll be nice to see somebody compare the two who isnt totally biased. You gotta give the guy some credit though for going through the trouble of doing this review.

  • @whitelotus808 but its way better than the standard trem. You still have to lick the strings down and cut the ball ends and such, but still...for the money and not effort and time, just get a good licensed floyd and have it routed at a wood shop with the correct template and have a tech install the system and nut and have it set up. itll require a shim in the neck, but a good tech will get it done in a day. so if you dont mind waiting then get the floyd.

  • @zachsara7 Id say stick with a floyd if you want max vibrato pull up (sharp to a 4th) and you dont want to sell your guitar, due to te modifications on the body with the custom routing and locking nut. the supervee isnt that bad, but you cant do the pull-up thing too much. Its just the best replacement system for that crappy synching trem on the strat thats quite useless and cant go beyond the human hands capability of vibrato. I got it and installed it and it isnt as good as a floyd.

  • @wparks play a chord after you shred it... i want to know if it stays in tune... also i want to see you play it... not a backdrop with a picture slide show. for all i know you playing a floyd hahaha

  • @wparks just remember "buddy," with out floyd rose you would have no super-v. And, please post a video comparing the two if you really want to talk :) im sure that if it was better, there would be more credible people talking about it. not saying its bad but it
