  • I can't tell what's more out of sync, the video and sound, or Merle and the rhythm section...

  • @yardbirdsweet Thanks Yardbird, you really are sweet.

  • Merle's TONE is UNMISTAKABLE! That's from two P-90 pickups with the selector switch in the middle position-what a beautiful crystaline sound...

  • @Pickinbuddy I like the tremelo bar with an "eye" to hook a finger in.

  • Man, those jackets are to die for.

  • @Gatorrock787 Just kiddin around. Thanks for all the excellent uploads.

  • @billga2010 Yes--Gibson still makes these, as do so many other pickup makers. They are also known as "Soap Bar" pickups when they have an ivory colored cover. They are true 'single coil' pickups, though most of today's boutique pickup makers also make them as "stacked humbucker" which operate quieter around neon lights and dimmers. You should have an easy time finding these. good luck!

  • @Pickinbuddy Could I buy those pick-ups somewhere ?
