  • Thanks for this video.I liked the song. Can you give me the title of this song? Take care

  • "Hurt" by Trent Reznor of NIN, sung here by Johnny Cash.

  • Again, I think the video is powerful. I'm trying to get a better understanding of my dad's Goin family melungeon roots,he/none of us knew about until now.

  • Goin, Goings, Goins are classic Melungeon names. And every Goins I've ever known has been a real character.

  • Could have sworn Africans are brown not black.

  • @grl8r Actually...The melungeons was started by Vardy Collins and Shep Gibson....they was NOT listed as blacks...they was listed as Indians....and if you check ANY historical documents on newman's ridge and the melungeons....you would have known this....OTHER families was called blacks...but NOT the founding 2 families of the melungeons. GRl8r...I would defiently welcome a battle of historical knowledge with on on this subject anytime.

  • @mshellek75 The Nichols is part of the Collins family, contact the ohio nation of saponi or Saponi descendants ASsociation for mor einfo on your nichols family.

  • @dbwells23 Jack Goins handles alot of the Goins family research. You should check out the Saponi nation ohio, or Saponi descendants Association.

  • @wowoak thank you

  • @CrazyNative4 she was probably a Mexican girl

  • This is BS. The so called "melungeons" were free negroes from Louisa County, Virginia that married into white and native american families. They moved to the hills of Appalachia were they would not be discriminated against and rather then call themselves mulatto they call themselves the mysterious and exotic "melungeon". end of story. no mystery.

  • @dbwells23 why?

  • @dbwells23 why don't you want to tell us who that girl is?

  • cool
