Former Commodore engineers Bil Herd and Dave Haynie (two of the original "C128 Animals") are joined by VIC-20 era engineer Bob Russell to give the 2006 installment of their video chat for Commodore fans.
I guess it's true that all good things come to an end. Thank you Dave for sharing this video. I just wish I was part of the Jack tramiel/Chuck Peddle era where excellence from all fronts truly made it all possible. Even the Jack attacks must have been epic :)
Anyways, congratulations to all of you for your hard work. You guys were truly "real", genuine and passionate engineers so lacking nowadays.
Very nice being able to put faces on names I read about. I have to say that after reading the last words of the "On the Edge" book, I could really feel your pain and sadness of leaving the great Commodore adventure. Being an HW eng myself I could truly relate to the kind of friendship you guys were leaving behind.
cont'd...
