This is a video showing one possible concept to using TECs for solar or camping. WHERE TO BUY

This could easily be designed to charge small devices with coals from a campfire or the fire itself.

  • hey dan, just incase you were still looking for some thermal grease alternatives i found this which might be usefull.. dealextreme . com / details . dx/sku.35819

  • @SolarTrinkets THANK YOU

  • I really enjoy your videos. All of them are well thought out and very informative. Hope you don't mind, but I use your videos to get my nephew interested in science. So far, so good. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

  • @demofactory Thank you for sharing an teaching:-)

  • does size matter on the cooler like the bigger they are the more volts they produce?

  • @giant648 Generally YES, they have more surface area and working material inside to produce more AMPS. Voltage is similar on all sizes depending on how they are made. Some larger ones do produce more voltage as well.

  • what a waste of 2 good cast iron pans. lol

  • i love it!

  • Great stuff dude!!! I've been seen your videos and your contribution is amazing. In last scene, you could put something more visible than a pinion on the motor. I'm trying to develop a generator with peltier, but for solar energy. Trying to cool my room, cause i live in Brazil, and here is hot! A lot of people spent lots of electricity in Air Conditioner (cooler). What do you think about to use the heat from the sun to cool it back??? :D

  • @GREENPOWERSCIENCE

you cant 'produce' amps. however you produce to ability to support amps. amperes is a draw and is determined by voltage and resistance. so question would be how many amps would a unit that size support?

  • HI IM YOUR HOST dAN ROHASS .....

  • Great video. Especially showing them while in working in normal environment is very good for understanding.

  • try jb weld it holds up at high heat and it bonds and dries yeah its a bit messy but well worth it and great video very informational

  • Peltiers perform much better with a power cap on them in my experience. They're far more efficient for heating/cooling than given credit for. From what I have witnessed, a lot of peltier devices are engineered by ignoramuses that merely have the finances and college contacts to get their POS on the commerce market. They're not actual engineers/craftsman.

This device has a lot better to offer!

  • hey dan i got an ideal get a few of these then get a torch heat these babies up and you got free energy exept that you puting in some gas but its still free energy at the cost of nothing
