kasey akira are you serious...does it look like she is doing a bicep curl?? this is a great core exercise that helps work the stabilizer muscles of the quads while working the stabilization of the core as well. Thus, it would be a great exercise for the swim portion as she mentions.

How the hell is it stupid or dangerous. Do you understand anything about what muscles she was trying to work and why? This is a common core/hip flexor exercise

Its typical for expert village. They cant find someone who knows how to explain a bicep curl correctly.
And I cant fathom why anyone would EVER suggest doing 10 to 15 reps in preparation for a triathlon. WHEN, in a TRIATHLON, are you EVER going to do 10 to 15 reps of ANYTHING?

Cant blame anyone for trying to make a couple of quid, however, her theories are shyte. Swimming drills will make your speed improve ie get some flippers on and do 10-15 mins working your legs in the pool before or after a swimm workout. Feel the burn...........fucking execise balls for swimming what planet is she from?
